He said will you do it with me If the records number one and I did not expect it to get to number one at all you know I wasn't being very well received on any level then you know with the Kodak and the hamburgers or whatever And So I should sure sure I will sure will Well I live to get nervous about that because a year later when I whenever it was he came back says ok it's time to pay your jews and the rest went to number one Yeah I was good as the first number one I had actually imagine that was number one Instant karma was number one show I don't think a better record than whatever gets you through the night Words are pretty good. But anyway so what what could we sing That was the point So we sang paul song and I saw a standing this I'm on elton rey but it was quite quite nice And that's when yolk when I got back together the night I performed with elton at madison square garden And I went on there and did the number And I was quite uh astonished at the crowd was so nice to me because I was only judging by what papers said about me And I thought I may as well not be around and the crowd was fantastic. No let let me try. And I. I was in the audience. Yeah an elton came out and he performed And this is the first time I saw elton perform And he's just a fantastic perform you know the perform of the century That's the way I felt that that night I mean sort of very heavy and very good He was I was watching and everybody was applauding and all that garden was it? And just the the whole sort of whole was shaking because everybody's was uh just jumping and and um applauding and screaming and shouting is that amazing scene and really literally the floor that falls shake. The place. thought it was like it was like an earthquake. You Know Uh And so John came out like that And because it was a surprise to everything I suppose But he was standing there And So everybody I mean I'm sure that people thought was this is great You Know But uh this John that I observed was a different John oh she looks so lonely. You Know he looks so lonely out there. So that's my mouth But he like I didn't know she was in the audience I couldn't have gone on If i'd known she was there and there she was You Know We looked at each other oh you know like the the indica gallery scene again And that that's when we got back together it's a happy memory that holds story Then I said
